WOMEN'S transition house- Helping single, homeless young mothers and their children IN THE WASHINGTON DC AREA

At Carrie Simon House, we are working to create hope by providing stability, skills, support and mentoring to homeless young mothers and their children in Washington, D.C.

The Carrie Simon House was founded in 1988 and provides transitional housing to young, homeless mothers, ages 18-25 in the Washington DC area. Our goal is to break the cycle of dependency and help the women develop the skills to never return to homelessness.
